Seaside beaches are open and there is no smell of oil. The predictions are for the oil to stay in the west. The water will be a little darker than usal for a week or so they are draining the coastal lakes (which is dark colored water)

There is no oil offshore of Okaloosa County. Okaloosa County’s action plan has been approved by the State of Florida DEP and is still waiting funding through Florida DEP and the BP block grant. Oil is not expected to be in the Okaloosa area through the next 72 hours. The oil has made it into [...]
