If you are on the 30A area Beaches like Blue Mountain, you will notice brown mixed water. This is from the Draining of the Coastal Lakes along Scenic 30A. According to the latest NOAA report, strong winds from the SE will continue for the foreseeable future, moving oil further westward. No Florida impacts are forecast through at least Wednesday. The oil is predicted to withdraw to the west over the next 72 hours even farther from Destin and surrounding Beaches. This is the biggest movement of the oil to the west in over a month.
