Miramar Beach, Florida on 8-17. Great weather with a breeze made it a good day in the sun and even better in the water. June-grass has cleared and the water looked great with good sized waves and people on the beach today was a nice day in the sun.

It never ceases to amaze me just how incredible the water color is. I’ve lived in California for most my life, and thought I’d seen some awesome beaches, but the Destin & Panama City Beach’s have surpassed them all!
I LOVE seeing some waves around Destin beaches. It’s a nice change of pace from the flatness. Granted, I love that too, since there’s nothing like the feeling of laying in the ocean on top of a little pool-float!
Our beaches are a precious resource that defines our special place in paradise. I too grew up in Southern California, while the beach are quite wonderful there, they don’t hold a candle to beaches here on the Emerald Coast.
