The Beaches in Destin are still clear from oil I spent yesterday at the beach and the harbor and have not seen any opil and pleanty of people in the water to find it if it was there. There are reports that dime size came onto okaloosa island to the west I will upload videos from harbor and the beach soon to show.
I watch many news stations read about 3 papers every morning look at live cams and all the predictions it gets confusing with many reporters not knowing our area like example Sant Rosa is a county far to the west of us and we have Santa Rosa Beach so it sometimes hard to understand what area they are talking about.
The oil is out in the Gulf and I understand this but the Beaches in Destin and East pass are clear and thousands of people are swimming boating and enjoying the area

Thank you for these updates. We are coming down for our annual family trip this Saturday and I can’t wait!! We stay out on the tip of Holiday Isle and I’m glad to know I can sit by the pool and watch the boats, and let my boys climb the rocks in the lagoon of Norreiga Point like always. Thanks again

Noriega Point is at the end of Holiday Isle once you go as far west as you can go driving park and you can walk up the beach to Noriega Point.
